RUNNING BACK
Wills concluded his high school career as the Central Section's all-time leading rusher. In 1986 his squad won an outright league championship and advanced to the section semifinals. He went on to play football and baseball at the University of California, Los Angeles. He later played ball for the Philadelphia Phillies before coming back to join the California Highway Patrol.

LINEBACKER
Alcorn was a star linebacker for the Bullpups who later played at College of the Sequoias and the University at Utah. Alcorn was a key player for one of Hanford's greatest teams - the 1986 squad that won an outright league championship and advanced to the section semifinals.

TEACHER AND COACH
Walt Parker was a high school math teacher. He was a renowned girls' basketball coach. Above all, he was a low-key yet effective community advocate who made indelible marks on people's lives with his generosity. An annual award will be named for Parker, who touched the lives of many as a football, baseball, basketball, softball and track coach, as well as a math teacher.

RUNNING BACK
Hanford High Class of 1975, was a running back who played at UCLA before transferring to San Jose State. He was a second-round draft pick of the Los Angeles Rams in 1980, and earned all-rookie honors that same year. He played five NFL seasons.

DEFENSIVE BACK
Hanford Class of 1976, starred at the University of Washington and later started at cornerback for the Green Bay Packers. A second-round draft pick, he played in Green Bay for 12 seasons. He was a Pro Bowl pick in 1986, when he had nine interceptions.

NOSE GUARD
Known as "Big Bird," Hanford Class of 1977. A star nose guard, he went on to play at Washing-ton. His career was cut short by a knee injury suffered against Michigan State in the Rose Bowl.

WALTER PARKER AWARD
One of the original members of the Hanford High Quarterback Club. Frances served as club's treasurer for decades. She was treasurer when Pat Preston was coach, and John Clark, Tim Galli, [Thom] Sembritzki, [James] Gambrell, and John Clark again.

COACH
Clark came to Hanford High School in 1981 as an assistant coach, and then became the head coach at Hanford High School and served from 1983 to 1990. Then came back to Hanford High School in 2000 until 2006. He was the most winning football coach in Hanford High School history.

OFFENSIVE LINE
A three-year starter at Hanford HS, earned first team West Yosemite League and second team All-Valley honors as a senior and also lettered in volleyball and basketball as a prep. After arriving at Berkeley as a walk-on in 1999, he appeared in only one game in both 2000 and 2001, blossomed into full-time starter in 2002 and developing into one of the leaders of the offensive line.

Ralph was named MVP of the 1960 football team, which was the first Valley winning team. He was also on three FFA State-winning Judging Teams

WIDE RECEIVER
Born March 15, 1976 in Hanford CA. A former American football wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Selected by the Oakland Raiders in the 1999 NFL draft, Douglas played four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles from 1999 to 2002. He was with the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2003 season. He played college football at University of California, Berkeley.

WALTER PARKER AWARD
Hill spent most of his life in Hanford, serving twice as mayor and also serving on the City Council and the Hanford Joint Union High School Board. Hill served as president of the Quarterback Club from 1974-80. He was instrumental in the construction of the Little League Complex in 1978, which was just recently renamed "Bob Hill Athletic Youth Complex."

DEFENSIVE LINE
Athlete who could play any position, but preferred playing defense. He was used mainly as a guard or an end. He was a linebacker on the Giants' Valley Conference champions, and at Cal Poly, where he played football for three years. He coached several teams in the Central Coast area and is credited with building up the Pop Warner program in Nipomo.

QUARTERBACK
He was named to the all- West Yosemite League and all-NorCal team after being ranked No. 2 in the state in passing with 2,741 yards in 1993, including a 520-yard effort in a 35-14 win over Mt. Whitney (Visalia), marks still listed in the state record book.

DEFENSIVE BACK / RUNNING BACK
Football, basketball and track letterman at HHS and had a stellar career at San Jose State. He was a two-time all-Pacific Coast Athletic pick in the defensive backfield and a second-team NEA All-America pick in 1981. Kenny Thomas was drafted by and played for the Kansas City Chiefs.

RUNNING BACK
Bruising 220-pound running back and cornerback and a member of the Hanford High West Yosemite League Championship team in 1993. In his senior year, he ran for 1,276 yards with 12 touchdowns, earning spots on the first all-WYL team, the all-area team and the 1994 All-Far West 100. He continued his football career at the University of Nevada, where he played in the Las Vegas Bowl.

WALTER PARKER AWARD
Announced Junior varsity football for nearly 20 years at HHS. A former Hanford mayor and city council member. He was involved with Hanford Little League, Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Hanford Recreation Commission, Hanford Improvement Association, Kings County Historical Society, Kings County Homecoming Committee, Hanford Christmas Parade and Hanford Centennial Commission.
